7 original things to do in The Born District

The Born district is sandwiched between the Gothic Quarter and Parc Ciutadella. Although it is a separate area from the Gothic Quarter, you’ll see that many of the narrow and cobbled streets of the Gothic Quarter have carried over to the Born district. Similar to the Gothic Quarter there are loads of gems dispersed throughout this district. Here are 7 cool things you can do with your flatmates:

1.Tlaxcal

This restaurant arguably has the most delicious tacos in the city of Barcelona. They also have ceviche, and other entrees, but be sure to check this restaurant out.

2.Lime House

What do you get when you combine Tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, a little bit of salt, and the summertime weather? Margaritas. Lime house has some of the finest margaritas in the Born district.

3.Creps al Born

If you’ve already seen the Lime House, you’ll soon find out how close it is to Creps al born. This bar has fantastic drinks paired with either sweet or savory crepes.

4. Sans & Sans

If you’re someone who loves tea, and haven’t heard of Sans & Sans, then this store will be a summertime paradise for you. They have a way full of a variety of teas and will let you sample the scents of as many as your heart desires.

5.Paradiso

Paradiso is a restaurant with a secret identity. By day they are a pastrami shop, but by night they are a bar that will transport you back in time to the 70s.

6.Bubó Born

If you have a large sweet tooth, then Bubó born is the restaurant for you. They are tucked away and off the grid, but they harbor carefully crafted cakes, macaroons, and chocolates.

7.Red Ant

The sister restaurant of Mosquito [interlink to budget article], RedAnt has a variety of ramen, bibimbap, and a beer. The have a variety of truffles and mochis for dessert, but the true hidden gem in their menu is the salmon with coconut rice.
