My adventure: from Calabria to Milan
When I moved from the South of Italy to the North to go to Bocconi University, I ended up sharing a house with a woman much older than me because I couldn’t find a cheaper alternative. It was a nightmare. She was very untidy, smoked everywhere in the house and barely cleaned after her cat.
Fortunately, the following year I moved in with one of my best friends Vale and my sister Andre, and having the same interests, lifestyles and groups of friends really made the difference.
Home is your cozy place, the one where you go back at the end of the day and finally relax. It’s important to respect each other’s personal space and clean up, but it’s even more important to have someone that you really really like, because flatmates are like a family that you get to choose!
